Moscow hosted the eighth meeting of the working group on the implementation of information modeling technologies (TIM) in construction. This was reported in the press service of the capital’s planning policy department with reference to its head Sergei Levkin.
The meeting was attended by representatives of relevant departments of the Moscow construction complex and resource supply organizations.
Levkin noted at the meeting that it is important to make a collegial decision on the practical application of the “Requirements Training Methodology for a Digital Information Model of a Capital Construction Object” in the implementation implementation of projects in the capital.
“The developed methodology determines the algorithm for the formation of technical specification requirements for urban facilities built using TIM,” he said.
It was also noted at the meeting that the methodology offers a new scenario-based target approach to the process of developing a digital information model with attribute sets for target tasks. This makes it possible to determine a set of model properties and form a digital twin of a capital building object. It also contains data to translate the terms of reference into a standard electronic form, which reduces labor costs for customers.
Levkin noted that, in accordance with the instructions of the Mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, information modeling technologies are being introduced into the city. Already around 200 metropolitan facilities are being built and designed using TIM.
