The Order of Merit for the Fatherland, degree IV (with swords) is awarded to military personnel for distinction in combat operations. The variant of the award with swords indicates that Alexei Stolyarov will receive it from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. In this case, the state award certificate will be signed by the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Sergei Shoigu.
Note that this information caused a great resonance in the network. The blogger Stolyarov, who is Shoigu’s son-in-law, is not a soldier and does not belong to the SVO.
