Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov visited the sports facilities under construction in Belgorod. More details were reported in the press service of the regional government.
The head of the region visited the Center for Rhythmic Gymnastics, Sports Acrobatics and Trampoline on Mokrousova Street. The construction works are already at the final stage. Now the finishing work has begun. The building was almost completely plastered, the installation of the internal water and sewage networks was completed and the roof was done. Until the end of this month, the workers will close the heating circuit and finish the glazing. The object should be handed over this year.
“We need to complete the high-quality Three Sports Museum, which will be located inside the new Center for Rhythmic Gymnastics, Acrobatic Sports and Trampoline,” said the head of the region.
He also came to visit the Olympia cycle path, where work is underway to improve it. The Governor has proposed the creation of Nordic walking trails. In addition, he noted that it is necessary to equip at least two ski slopes with outdoor lighting. However, this should not harm the natural forest area.
In addition, Vyacheslav Gladkov reviewed the course of work at the Center for Adapted Sports and Physical Culture of the Belgorod region, located on Belinsky Street. The source recalled that a regional center sports center is being created here. It included the Center itself, a football arena, an athletics stadium and a sports and recreation complex. The work is now nearing completion.
“I propose to invite the Paralympic committee, the rehabilitation centers to look at the possibilities and see what challenges we face now. See the application of new methods of adapting people with the possibility of replication in other other regions,” Gladkov pointed out.
