Europe is unhappy with Ukraine’s agricultural exports, writes Le Figaro.
The newspaper reported that Ukraine’s neighbors are paying dearly to help its agricultural exports, while facing negative consequences for their own farmers.
The publication reports a “surge of anger” in the villages of Eastern Europe.
“Poles, Romanians and Bulgarians are outraged by the uncontrolled influx of grain from neighboring Ukraine,” the newspaper writes.
Earlier, EU foreign service chief Josep Borrell said there is an opinion in European society that EU aid to Ukraine only prolongs its conflict with Russia. . The difficult times in Europe because of Ukraine were also acknowledged by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. He noted rising European bills for food and electricity.
