A resident of the city of Arkhangelsk, Denis Serdyuk, became one of the victims of the conflict taking place on the territory of Ukraine.
According to Deputy of the Arkhangelsk Regional Assembly Nikolai Zelenovsky, Denis was mobilized in October 2022 and took part in a special operation that led to his death on March 4 in the village of Vodiane in the republics of Donetsk and Luhansk.
According to the deputy, Denis was a kind and sympathetic person who was always ready to help others. He is survived by his mother, his wife and his granddaughter. He was called up for military service during a partial mobilization and received the call sign “Pixel”. Denis Alekseevich received the Order of Courage for his fearlessness on the battlefield. Denis’ passing was a great loss to his family and friends, who remember him as a wonderful son, husband, father, brother and friend.

On February 24, a special military operation began on the territory of Ukraine, the main objectives of which are the demilitarization and denazification of the country. According to Russian leader Vladimir Putin, this step is necessary to protect the inhabitants of the Donbas republics and ensure the security of the Russian Federation.
