Professor Abdulaziz Al-Hail, former principal of Al-Khor Secondary School, revealed the story of Radio Bin Obaidan, which is famous in the city of Al-Khor.

He explained – in statements to the channel "Al Rayyan" – That this story was in the fifties, specifically in the years 57 and 58, when the owner of a shop called Bin Obaidan was sitting in front of his shop with the people of the creek and turning on the radio immediately after the Maghrib prayer.


He pointed out that Bin Obaidan was the first to introduce a radio to the city of Al Khor, and the people used to listen to my radio "BBC" arabic and"Voice of the Arabs"And they know from them the news of Egypt and the Arab countries. He pointed out that the people are at the height of their happiness as they listen to the news on this radio.

He continued: that some of those sitting were merchants who knew the Persian language and said that "BBC" Arabic is different from "BBC" Persian, where the English do not explain the full details in Arabic.
