The landing sites of the new Russian spacecraft “Eagle” have been determined

The reusable Russian manned spacecraft Orel, developed by Energia Rocket and Space Corporation named after SP Korolev, will be able to land on the ground between the Volga and the Urals, as well as between the Ob and the Irtysh. This is stated in the journal publication of the Cosmonaut Training Center named after Yu.A. Gagarin manned spaceflight.

It should be noted that when determining the landing zones of the ship, they were guided by the proximity of transport communications and places where they can provide medical assistance to the crew. Helicopter platforms should also be prepared.

Recall that in November last year, Roscosmos CEO Yuri Borisov announced his intention to produce one satellite per day after the transition to mass production of spacecraft. He noted that a radical restructuring of the entire industry would be required.

According to him, it is necessary to ensure the scientific, technological and production readiness of the main enterprises, as well as to build new logistics with related enterprises and train personnel.

Borisov is confident that it will be possible to achieve the declared indicators from 2026, when the necessary work will be carried out and production capacities will be prepared.
