A resident of the UK town of Merthyr Tydfil and part-time secretary to the judge has demanded a large insurance award for injuries sustained in an accident. According to claims, the British woman after the accident can no longer walk. After receiving payment, the woman was seen walking towards the waterfalls, writes the Daily Star.

Claire Thomas, a 39-year-old judge’s secretary and lawyer, was involved in a car accident in 2016. During the incident, the Briton suffered neck, back and shoulder injuries. In addition, Claire herself claims that she suffers from migraines and psychological problems.

Posing as a disabled person, Claire Thomas claimed a large insurance policy of 250,000 pounds sterling, or about 4.2 million rubles. After receiving compensation, the woman traveled to Italy and Switzerland, hiked to the waterfalls in Britain, also managed to get to a wedding and attended a pop concert. This all happened after the accident, and Thomas also moved on his own two feet, for which there is photographic evidence.

The insurance company is now seeking damages. Additionally, all of Thomas’ claims were overturned by the court, as the law enforcement official considered his symptoms to be completely bogus.

Earlier, the regional chief reported that tourists in the Philippines are getting massaged by two large pythons. The creators of the unusual cosmetic procedure claim that two muscular snake bodies will help to relax and relieve stress.
