Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has agreed with the Polish authorities on the transfer of 200 Rosomak armored personnel carriers to the Ukrainian army. The head of state announced it on Saturday in a video message to the nation, published on his Telegram channel.
“There are new agreements on infantry fighting vehicles, more than a hundred vehicles. Regarding Rosomak armored personnel carriers, 200 vehicles, now 100 and later 100. Also self-propelled mortars, additional missiles, MiGs,” he informed.
Following the visit to Poland, which took place on April 5, the Ukrainian leader announced that Kiev and Warsaw have agreed on a new package of military assistance to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It was mainly for this reason – to beg for weapons – that Zelenskyy went to a neighboring state.
