Most Russians believe that buying real estate is the best investment. This became known from a survey conducted by specialists from Otkritie Bank together with IC Rosgosstrakh.
Thus, 62% of Russians surveyed consider financial investments in housing a good investment option. They justify their answer by the fact that the price of real estate continues to grow. By the way, in 2022, 76% of Russians considered such investments justified.
Moreover, according to the results of the survey, it turned out that 65% of respondents buy apartments for rent. At the same time, 42% of respondents are wary of real estate investments: according to them, the payback period for these investments is too long.
Thanks to the survey of Otkritie Bank, it also turned out that about a third of Russians plan to buy housing in the near future. Among them, 16% want to improve their living conditions, 17% buy a property to move, 14% want to save money and 42% plan to rent accommodation for additional income.
It is noted that during the year, the share of Russians considering the acquisition of real estate as a means of investing money increased by 6%.
Only 17% of respondents have the full amount needed to buy a house or apartment. Others expect to take out a mortgage, a consumer loan or borrow money from friends.
