Today, April 10, Mayor Yuri Parakhin visited the roads of Oryol, which are being actively repaired. First of all, these are Kosmonavtov and Komsomolskaya streets, which are to be renovated as part of the national project “Safe High-Quality Roads”. Yury Parakhin told more about his work trip on his personal VKontakte page.
He noted that the project area is quite large, with many connections, changing road sizes and new parking lots. Therefore, it is very important to be on site with the contractor every step of the way.
According to the mayor of Orel, at least 40-50 new parking spaces will be created along Komsomolskaya Street. In addition, cycle paths combined with a pedestrian zone will be developed on both streets.
Milling will begin soon on Komsomolskaya, and the repair of Kosmonavtov Street should be completed by the end of June, and not July, as stipulated in the contract.
