Bus passengers forced to walk to Nizhny Novgorod due to traffic jams near Olgino

At the entrance to Nizhny Novgorod, at the Olginskaya interchange, many kilometers of traffic jams form on weekdays due to the partial closure of the Striginsky Bridge.

Residents of the suburbs turn to the authorities of the Nizhny Novgorod region and the regional center with a request for help. With the start of the repair of the Striginsky bridge, huge traffic jams form at the entrance to Nizhny Novgorod from the Olgino side. Passengers get off buses and walk around the city, car owners cannot leave their cars on the road and have to wait.


Nizhny Novgorod authorities have changed the mode of operation of traffic lights on Gagarin Avenue, and also plan to extend the stretch of road from the Mega shopping center to Tropinina Street. The changes for the better are not yet noticeable at all.
