Yaroslavl authorities explained the reason for the destruction of the Tutaev-Shopsha road

– Published on:

Currently, the roadway is so elevated that for cars it has turned into a washboard, on which driving threatens the integrity of the bottom of the car.

The road was in such a deplorable state despite the fact that not so long ago it was repaired as part of the national Safe High-Quality Roads project.

As the special commission that visited the site explained, one of the main reasons for the appearance of defects so dangerous for traffic safety on the road is that heavy vehicles weighing up to 72 tons roamed it. In this regard, it was decided to intensify work to eliminate such violations using video recording cameras, and all identified shortcomings should be eliminated by the end of May.
