Saints in India gave the message of harmony from time to time. The idea of ​​considering oneself as the only superior has never existed in Indian thinking. In the Vedic period, there was a karma based system. There are also instances when the sage did not consider his own son as a Brahmin. Swami Dayanand, Swami Vivekananda and Acharya Shriram Sharma made efforts to remove pomp on Vedic basis. He gave everyone the right to practice Gayatri Mantra. This is a Vedic concept. This is the specialty of Hindu philosophy.
Our sages say that as far as my thinking went, it was revealed. But this is not the end. Question and curiosity are the specialties of Hindu thought. Saints and great men made the society aware from time to time. Respect all such people. There can be agreement and disagreement with them. But all these people gave the message of social harmony in their own way. Follow as much as possible according to the circumstances and faith. Serve your parents during their lifetime. There should not be conduct contrary to the interests of the society and the nation.
There should be a sense of social harmony. Even the difference in worship method should not adversely affect this idea. In India, since ancient times, respect was given to all sects and methods of worship. Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah Sarve Santu Niramayah is the ideology of India. Selfless service and social harmony have been the specialties of India. The word brotherhood is in harmony with the spirit of Hinduism. Separation from any sect was not recognized in this philosophy. Despite diversity, the society is one. There is diversity in language, caste, religion, food. There is a need to celebrate them. Some people try to divide the society and the country under the guise of diversity. But Indian thought also gives the message of unity in diversity.
The conduct of our culture is based on harmony. This is not limited to Hindus, but this feeling can also be clearly seen within Christian and Muslim families living in India. Due to anger and indiscretion, beware of extremist forces taking advantage of it. Service harmony is the need of the day. This should be implemented. This will pave the way for a better India. Self-restraint and following the rules are also important in the present situation. It is necessary to create an atmosphere of co-operation, harmony and harmony in the society. India has been helping other countries because this is our idea.
Our only goal is the all-round progress of the entire society. When it comes to Hindutva, the idea of ​​hatred, bigotry or terror towards any other sect automatically vanishes. Then the feeling of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam and Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah is awakened. Even when India was the world leader, it did not try to impose its views on any other country. India was powerful, even then no one was forced to give up their faith on the strength of the sword. Compared to other civilizations of the world, India stands out as one that gave respect to all creeds. Gave the idea of ​​brotherhood among all.
In such a situation, there is talk of making India powerful, then the idea of ​​the welfare of the world is included in it. The nature of India is basically integral and holistic. That is, India believes in the unity of existence in the whole world. That’s why we don’t think in pieces. We think of all together. The conduct of the society should be pure. There is a system for religion in the same system for this. In religion, importance was given to truth, non-violence, asteya celibacy, abstinence, defecation, self-study, satisfaction and penance. There will be welfare of the country with harmony. These are also the basic elements of our constitution.
This is what the preamble, civil duties, civil rights and directive principles mentioned in the constitution tell. When devotion awakens towards India and Indian culture and pride awakens towards the tradition of the ancestors of India, then all differences disappear. India is the only country where all the people have been living together for a long time. The happiest Muslims are from the country of India only. Is there any country in the world where the people of that country have been ruled by another sect. We have Muslims and Christians here. They have got all the rights here. All the castes of the world have been ending in their origin, whereas in India they are flourishing. India has given the feeling of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam to the whole world.
