A science popularization exhibition with the theme of “high-speed train” organized by the Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation opened in Beijing on April 23. According to the news received from this exhibition, new progress has been achieved in the “high-speed train” being developed by China. The first full-scale superconducting driving test was recently completed in China. In future, it will run at a speed of 1000 kilometers per hour.

The “high-speed train” is said to be a transportation system that combines magnetic levitation technology with low vacuum technology to achieve ultra-high-speed operation. At present, the study team has established a “high-speed train” full-scale superconducting driving test line in Taithong City, Shaanxi Province, China, and has just completed the first test.

Significantly, the “high-speed train” will be used for transportation between mega-city agglomerations in the future. Its speed is 1 thousand km. Will reach per hour. According to the expert, more time is needed to achieve this speed, and many tests are needed to proceed slowly. Previously the study team has completed ultra-high-speed magnetic levitation and electromagnetic propulsion tests under non-vacuum conditions. Its speed is 623 km. reached per hour.
