Bhopal. Ladli Behna Yojana, which originated from the heart of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, has entered the hearts of all the sisters of the state. Immense enthusiasm is being seen among the sisters for the scheme. Till Wednesday evening, one crore 14 lakh 39 thousand 165 women have registered themselves under the scheme. This information was given by Public Relations Officer Bindu Sunil.

He told that Chief Minister Chouhan had launched Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana on his birthday, March 5, 2023, for the economic and social empowerment of his sisters after the Ladli Laxmi Yojana, which makes daughters a boon. This scheme was liked by the sisters of the state in such a way that within a short period of about one and a quarter months, the number of registrations crossed one crore. The process of registration of sisters will continue till April 30. The Chief Minister himself is having a face-to-face dialogue with the sisters by holding Mahila Mahasammelan in different districts of the state to inform them about the scheme.

So far, 2 lakh 71 thousand 38 in Bhopal district of Bhopal division, 2 lakh 25 thousand 139 in Raisen district, 2 lakh 58 thousand 142 in Rajgarh district, 2 lakh 20 thousand in Sehore district under the Ladli Bahna Yojana, which originated from the sensitive thinking of Chief Minister Chouhan. 606 and 2 lakh 52 thousand 989 applications have been made in Vidisha district. There have been 2 lakh 51 thousand 647 applications in Bhind district of Chambal division, 3 lakh 4 thousand 35 in Morena district and 99 thousand 205 in Sheopur district. In Gwalior division, 2 lakh 82 thousand 940 applications have been filled in Gwalior district, one lakh 38 thousand 684 in Ashoknagar, one lakh 30 thousand 933 in Datia, 2 lakh 10 thousand 684 in Guna and 2 lakh 59 thousand 306 in Shivpuri district.

One lakh 86 thousand 158 applications have been received in Narmadapuram district of Narmadapuram division, 2 lakh 44 thousand 692 in Betul, 81 thousand 322 in Harda district. 4 lakh 2 thousand 362 in Indore district of Indore division, one lakh 19 thousand 138 in Alirajpur, 2 lakh 19 thousand 94 in Barwani, one lakh 16 thousand 939 in Burhanpur, 3 lakh 58 thousand 982 in Dhar, one lakh 82 thousand in Jhabua 430, one lakh 96 thousand 953 have been received in Khandwa and 2 lakh 84 thousand 199 in Khargone district. 3 lakh 42 thousand 982 in Jabalpur district of Jabalpur division, 3 lakh 27 thousand 600 in Balaghat, 3 lakh 60 thousand 56 in Chhindwara, 1 lakh 21 thousand 986 in Dindori, 2 lakh 26 thousand 729 in Katni, 1 lakh 80 thousand in Mandla 577, one lakh 94 thousand 128 in Narsinghpur and 2 lakh 46 thousand 363 sisters applied in Seoni district. In Rewa division, 3 lakh 52 thousand 782 applications have been received in Rewa district, 3 lakh 33 thousand 955 in Satna, one lakh 87 thousand 977 in Sidhi and one lakh 74 thousand 891 in Singrauli district.

Sagar division has 3 lakh 69 thousand 165 in Sagar district, 2 lakh 82 thousand 931 in Chhatarpur, 2 lakh 14 thousand 612 in Damoh, 71 thousand 461 in Niwari, one lakh 58 thousand 48 in Panna and one lakh 82 thousand 480 in Tikamgarh district. Applications have been registered. One lakh 74 thousand 126 applications were received in Shahdol district of Shahdol division, one lakh 19 thousand 599 in Anuppur district and 99 thousand 441 in Umaria district. 3 lakh 11 thousand 122 in Ujjain district of Ujjain division, 1 lakh 3 thousand 463 in Agar-Malwa, 2 lakh 54 thousand 542 in Dewas, 2 lakh 33 thousand 326 in Mandsaur, 1 lakh 39 thousand 141 in Neemuch, 2 lakh in Ratlam 31 thousand 327 and one lakh 46 thousand 738 sisters have registered in the scheme in Shajapur district.

eligibility in the scheme

In the scheme, women from families of 23 to 60 years who are not income tax payers, have less than 5 acres of land in the family and do not have a four wheeler vehicle in the house, have been considered eligible in the scheme. E-KYC of each applicant has been made mandatory in the registration process. Free arrangements have been made by the state government for this. All the applications received in the prescribed period will be examined in the month of May and from June 10, one thousand rupees each will start coming into the accounts of the eligible beneficiary sisters.
