Plot in the top three abode

The Russian championship is entering the finish line, we will soon have answers to all the main questions: who will become the champion, who will enter the top three and who will say goodbye to the first division. We present to your attention the traditional overview of all RPL matches of the 25th round.

Dynamo-Fakel. April 28, 8:00 p.m.

For Dynamo, this match will be significant, because every Blue and White fan will have the opportunity to celebrate the club’s 100th anniversary and take part in various activities. Therefore, a direct visit or watch the game will be a great way to spend your Friday night.

In the first round, Dynamo and Fakel were tied at 3:3. It was a real football thriller: Voronezh’s comeback from 0-2, amazingly beautiful goals and, of course, the best performances from Fakel fans. It was then that everyone agreed that big football had really returned to Voronezh.

No need to worry about the effectiveness of the upcoming match: both teams score at least 1 goal in meetings between them. Dynamo and Fakel do not show stable football in the long term, so their confrontation promises to be emotional. NHL Washington Capitals forward Alexander Ovechkin will grace this game with his presence.

Wings of the Soviets – Zenit. April 29, 2 p.m.

After a disappointing defeat in Nizhny Novgorod in the last round, the Samartans have considerably complicated their classification in the tournament: they are only 3 points from the play-off zone, and now they are fighting with a very serious opponent. The chances, frankly, are few, but given the trend of unimportant play away from St. Petersburg, you can try to hold on to a draw, as was the case in the spring of last season .

Zenit went unsuccessfully to Samara the last two times – as already noted, they played a draw in the league, and this season they were completely defeated in the cup game 0-2 with a red card from Claudinho. The “Wings of the Soviets” always cause problems for the Petersburgers, scoring them an average of one goal per game.

Current champions head coach Sergei Semak has noted the health issues of midfielders Erokhin and Brazilian Wendel, Zenit’s main ‘distributor’, but the ‘chemistry’ between the players is not expected to change drastically at this time. from that. We are expecting a very nervous game and are struggling on all parts of the pitch.

Ahmad – CSKA. April 29, 4:30 p.m.

The two teams are showing themselves rather well this season, and if we are traditionally used to seeing the “army men” in the top three (while they are in 4th place), then Ahmad is now a very strong team who have already managed to present one of the main sensations of the championship – 2: 1 victory over Zenit in an away match.

Considering the mentality of the people of Grozny, it would seem that there should be no authority for them, but games with CSKA are mostly unsuccessful for them. In 31 Premier League matches, Ahmad won only 5 times, and in terms of goal difference they are generally catastrophically inferior – 18-59 in favor of Muscovites. The matches of these teams take place in most cases on the principle of “one goal”: those who have conceded a goal almost never recover it, and in this sense the match of the 1st round is a mark. Ahmad, losing by three goals in the first half, cut the gap to a minimum, but still couldn’t escape defeat.

Bakhtiyor Zainutdinov, one of the key players in Vladimir Fedotov’s system, will not help the Rouge-Bleu in the upcoming game. In the Grozny team, not everyone is healthy either: the fracture of the tibia of Ivan Oleinikov “knocked him out” for an indefinite period. Let’s see if CSKA and Ahmad will exchange scored goals.

Krasnodar – Urals. April 29, 7:00 p.m.

In the final round, Krasnodar and Spartak staged a real shootout, setting up a game with seven goals scored in one shot. The match showed that Vladimir Ivic’s side make good use of the opponent’s mistakes, but they themselves are not without sins when playing defensively.

In the 25th round, the Urals will play away against Krasnodar. Recently, Viktor Goncharenko’s team has not shown the best results: the Yekaterinburg club has lost the last 5 RPL games with a total score of 2:10. The Urals are in 11th place in the standings, just three points from the play-off area, so the team only has to score points. However, it is always difficult to count on a victory or at least a draw in a game against Krasnodar. Vladimir Ivic’s wards have scored at least 2 goals in the seven matches of the RPL spring game. John Cordoba is particularly active in the team’s attack, with 6 goals and 3 assists in the last seven games. Moreover, 5 goals were scored by Nikita Kryvtsov, who spends less than half of the playing time on the pitch in the spring of the season.

Krasnodar is the big favorite in the match, it will be extremely difficult for the Urals to count on points. It should be added that almost certainly the same teams will also meet in the Russian Cup.

Spartak – Rostov 29 April, 19:30

The meeting between Spartak and Rostov should be considered a match for the silver medals of the Russian championship. Yes, the two clubs still have head-to-head matches against CSKA, who are chasing the teams, but the fight for second place largely depends on the outcome of the game in this round.

Rostov have not lost 8 games in a row in RPL. “Spartak” 4 games in a row by winning points. Note that the Blues and Yellows are one of the most difficult opponents of the Moscow club: in the last ten face to face, the Reds-Whites have lost 6 times. Rostov also won this season with a score of 4:2. On average, the teams score more than 3 goals per game, and their confrontation has become one of the most productive in the Russian championship in recent years. From now on, teams will play at Otkritie Bank Arena.

The plot you can follow in this match (apart from the direct fight for money): Quincy Promes’ next goal will be his 86th in the Russian championships, which will make him the most productive legionnaire in history of the RPL. Now, the Spartak player shares this title with Vagner Love and Serdar Azmun. Also, don’t forget that Valery Karpin is now in charge of Rostov – his meetings with Spartak are still fundamental.

Orenburg – Bet NN. April 30, 2 p.m.

Such an expected but outrageous victory of “Paris NN” over “Wings of the Soviets” in the last round raised a number of questions for chief referee Roman Galimov. As a result of the ESC RFU meeting, it was determined that the judge wrongly awarded a penalty in favor of Nizhny Novgorod and also erred with the non-appointment of an 11-meter penalty against them . Also, defender Viktor Aleksandrov was not removed from the field by mistake.

The history of confrontations between these teams counts only 5 games at FNL and RPL levels, but Pari NN has never been able to surpass its opponents. Moreover, Orenburg conceded only one goal, while he himself scored 8 goals and certainly reached the gates of Nizhny Novgorod at least once per game. It is worth noting that the “Citizens” did not score a single goal against “Orenburg” in their field.

Five Pari NN players will not go to Orenburg at the same time – Krotov, Rybchinsky, Alexandrov (brute force yellow cards), Mayga and Yansane (injuries). Again, a difficult time is coming for the residents of Nizhny Novgorod, and the right to make mistakes is reduced to a minimum. What if this served as additional motivation for the wards of Sergei Yuran, and they would end up breaking the black streak during the encounters with Orenburg?

Sochi – Torpedo. April 30, 4:30 p.m.

Torpedo continues to fight for his survival, although after the loss to Khimki in the last round, the chances of retaining a residence permit in the RPL have become as illusory as possible. Sochi is in the middle of the table, risking nothing and pretending to nothing significant. The team has won only one game in the last six, the total difference in goals scored and conceded in this segment is 3:12.

In the first round, the match of these teams ended with the score 1:3 in favor of Sochi. Torpedo are the worst RPL team both in terms of goals scored and in terms of the “expected goals scored” statistical metric. A possible loss in this match will minimize the team’s chances of salvation, so expect a fierce fight from the first minute to the last.

Lokomotiv – Khimki. April 30, 7:00 p.m.

Khimki, like Torpedo, is fighting for survival, only Andrey Talalaev’s team has a better chance of success. However, the club are unlikely to rely on any points scored in the game against Lokomotiv.

In the spring part of the championship, the “railroaders” scored 16 points – no one in the league scored more in this segment. Mikhail Galaktionov’s team scored 17 goals (only Krasnodar had more). However, there is a game problem in defense: Lokomotiv have conceded 7 goals in seven games, but have created many chances on their doorstep.

Khimki needs points, but it seems that in games against such Lokomotiv the team has nothing to count on, especially on the road.
