Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny reported on his conversation with US Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley.
According to him, he told Milli that Ukrainian troops were fighting “the most violent battles” in Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Maryinka. There, according to him, the Russians continue their offensive.
“He spoke of missile strikes by Russian strategic aircraft and the daily bombardment of civilian targets with guided bombs in the frontline area. He stressed the need to strengthen the capabilities of the air defense system,” Zaluzhny said on his Telegram channel.
He also drew attention to the strength of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the importance of timely supplying Ukrainian troops with “sufficient military equipment and ammunition”.
