Sports Desk. In the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League, RCB defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 18 runs on Monday. After this match something happened which no one expected. After the match, there was a heated exchange between former RCB captain Virat Kohli and Lucknow Super Giants coach Gautam Gambhir. The Indian Cricket Control Board has taken strict action on this.
BCCI has fined 100 percent of the match fees on Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir in this case. While Naveen-ul-Haq has been fined 50 per cent. In the match, RCB scored 126 runs while playing first. In reply, Lucknow lost its 4 wickets in the powerplay itself.
After taking the catch of Krunal Pandya, Virat Kohli looked towards the stands and put a finger on his mouth, then gestured the fans to cheer RCB instead of remaining silent. Lucknow coach Gautam Gambhir signaled to the fans to keep quiet. Perhaps for this reason, former India captain Virat Kohli did this to give a befitting reply to Gautam Gambhir. In the middle of the match, Virat Kohli had an argument with Amit Mishra and Naveen-ul-Haq.
