New Delhi. During the last 24 hours, more than three thousand new cases of Kovid infection have been reported in the country and with this the total number of infected persons has crossed 40 thousand.
The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said here on Wednesday that 3720 new people have been infected with Kovid during the last 24 hours in the country. With this, the number of Kovid infected has increased to 40177 and the infection rate has been recorded at 2.73 percent.
According to the ministry, in the last 24 hours, 9698 people have recovered from Kovid infection. The recovery rate is 98.73 percent. 150735 Covid infection tests have been done in the same period. During the last 24 hours, 2459 Covid vaccines have been administered. With this, more than 220.66 crore Covid vaccines have been administered in the country.
