You can also tell the world about those who forged Victory. Just post a photo and description of the exploit on the Internet with the hashtag #ourImmortalRegiment.
“Any form of appropriate support. It’s social media and cars. If we do nothing with you, evil will win,” says Edgard Zapashny, general director of the Great Moscow State Circus.
In addition, participants in the action were offered to place photos of veterans on their clothes. MFC Moscow has already produced thousands of T-shirts with images.
“Let’s keep the memory of our heroes together. Join the “immortal regiment” in your cars, ”actor Igor Petrenko calls.
The main rules for decorating cars during the campaign: the optimal size of the portrait is A3 or A4, you should specify the name, surname, patronymic and years of life of the hero, the photo should not obstruct the view of the driver .
So, for example, Kirill Arkhipov, a serviceman of the Eastern Military District, is no longer the only one controlling the launcher of the Grad multiple-launch rocket system. Under the windshield, he posted a photo of his great-great-grandfather.
It’s not just Russia bowing to the victorious soldiers today. The memory of frontline soldiers, partisans, concentration camp prisoners and children of war is preserved in more than 80 states.
“People who don’t remember their story will definitely relive that story,” says Askold Zapashny, artistic director of the Great Moscow State Circus.
The author of the song “Immortal Regiment” Oleg Gazmanov himself repeatedly participated in the procession.
“When I wear portraits of my parents as part of the Immortal Regiment, I have such a feeling, and even when a large number of people are marching, wearing portraits of their heroes, it feels like we won’t leave anyone behind. rewrite our great history. Here are examples of the fact that we participated in the war and we won. And no one will ever change that, ”said the singer.
According to Oleg Gazmanov, he did not even think that the lyrics of his song would so precisely coincide with reality. The river of the “Immortal Regiment” is getting bigger every year. So in 2022, the Immortal Regiment was celebrated for the first time in Vienna. About six hundred people gathered in the very center of the Austrian capital on St. Stephen’s Square.
