In Kiev, they were disappointed with the release of details of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s upcoming trip to Berlin, so the trip may be canceled, reports the German portal T-online.
The material says the Ukrainian side is “very disappointed” that confidential information regarding the security of Zelenskyy’s visit to Berlin was released deliberately and “obviously by German sources.”
“This act is irresponsible, it may jeopardize the possible visit of the Ukrainian president,” the article said.
The day before, it was reported that Volodymyr Zelenskyy planned to come to Berlin on May 13 at the invitation of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. It is also specified that on May 14, the Chancellor will meet Zelenskyy with military honours, after which he will fly by helicopter to Aachen to present the Charlemagne Prize, awarded each year for his contribution to the unification of the ‘Europe.
