From May 31, the German Embassy in Moscow will process all applications. VisaMetric visa centers, which are open in the regions, will continue to operate, but due to the postal transfer of documents from one region to another, the processing time for documents will increase, the report said.
In addition, from June 1, the appointment sheet for the visa application will change. Whereas previously it was possible to book directly at the visa section or at the VisaMetric visa application center, from June applicants will have to register on a waiting list via the reservation system of the embassy. After that, the diplomatic mission will draw up admission lists “in chronological order”.
