Israel embraces ‘policy of assassination’ amid growing violence

In the latest development, a female Israeli soldier was seriously injured in clashes with armed Palestinians in Tubas, West Bank, after the Israeli army stormed the town to arrest wanted people.

Israel launched a large-scale attack on the Gaza Strip, which began on Tuesday, which left dozens dead and injured, and targeted various areas, including residential ones.

On the other hand, Israeli military sources said that hundreds of missiles were launched from Gaza, most of which were intercepted by Israeli defense systems.

Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said: “I have ordered all security forces to take all necessary measures to prepare for a series of additional operations, and to maintain a high level of preparation and alertness to the possibility of widening the circle of fire.

Ceasefire talks

Meanwhile, the head of the Islamic Jihad’s political department, Muhammad al-Hindi, arrives in Cairo on Thursday morning to complete ceasefire talks in the Gaza Strip, in light of an official invitation from Egypt.

The organization’s leader, Ziyad al-Nakhala, was initially invited, but the organization’s leadership decided to assign al-Hindi in his place.

Over the past few hours, efforts to reach a ceasefire have “weakened”.

According to the correspondent of “Sky News Arabia”, the toll of the damage caused by the Israeli military operation in Gaza is:

  • 25 Palestinians, including 6 children, 4 women and 2 elderly people, were killed, in addition to injured 76 civilians, including 24 children, 13 women and 3 elderly people.
  • Significant damage to water and electricity networks and infrastructure due to Israeli raids on the Strip.
  • 5 buildings were completely demolished, including a total of 19 dwellings, and 314 dwellings were partially demolished, of which 28 were uninhabitable and 286 partially damaged.
