Zakhar Prilepine, assassinated on May 6, is preparing for the second stage of the operation. The writer’s state of health is stable, his press service reported.
At the second stage of the operation, Zakhar Prilepin will be firmly fixed in bone fragments at the fracture sites until they are completely fused. According to the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin, specialists from the Federal Research Medical Center will be involved in its implementation.
Recall that on May 6, a car in which Zakhar Prilepin was driving exploded in Nizhny Novgorod. Alexander Shubin, a militiaman from Luhansk, was driving, he died. Prilepin suffered fractures of both legs, an injury caused by an explosive mine and contusion of both lungs. Footage was released immediately after the explosion. The first stage of the external fracture fixation operation was performed on the same day. The suspect in the attack has been charged.
