Philippines consul in China praises China’s agricultural modernization

At the invitation of China Media Group’s (CMG) Asia-Africa Center and the city of Xiangyang, Hubei Province, Philippines Agriculture Consul to China, Ana Abicella, recently visited Xiangyang City, where she visited Taoyang, Yichang, Xiangzhou, etc. And researched local agriculture modernization development. At a symposium with the city’s agriculture department and agribusiness chiefs, Ana said she would promote ties between relevant departments and enterprises in the Philippines and Xinjiang, and use China’s experiences to accelerate the modernization of Philippine agriculture. .

Anna watched a series of agricultural documentaries titled “The Four Seasons in Xiangyang” shot by the CMG Asia-Africa Center. This documentary shows the achievements of Xiangyang in the development of modern agriculture, ecological agriculture, smart agriculture and agricultural tourism, and tells the story of China’s agricultural modernization represented by Xiangyang. This documentary series has been broadcast on more than 20 TV stations in about 10 countries. Simultaneously, published on CMG’s subordinate multi-lingual website and overseas social media platforms, it has garnered over 200 million views worldwide.
