Peshawar: At least 15 people were killed in violent clashes between two groups over the delimitation of a coal mine in Pakistan’s restive northwest. The incident took place between Sannikhel and Jarghun Khel tribes in Darda Adam Khek area of ​​Kohat district, police said. He said that those injured in the incident have been sent to a hospital in Peshawar. There is no information about the number of injured at the moment, but there have been casualties on both sides in the exchange of fire between the two groups.
On getting information about the incident, a joint team of police and security forces reached the spot and stopped the exchange of fire between the two groups. An FIR has been lodged in this matter at Darda Adam Sports Police Station. It may be noted that the dispute between the Sannikhel and Jarghun Khel tribes regarding the delimitation of the coal mine has been going on for the last few years and “Jirga” have been called several times to resolve it.
