Putin can’t avoid cleaning up the liberal elite – Khazin

In Russia, the economic recession and the decline in the standard of living of the population continue. The current liberal authorities can oppose nothing to that.

This opinion was expressed by the famous Russian economist Mikhail Khazin, according to the DEITA.RU news agency with reference to the YouTube channel “Moscow speaks”.

According to him, sooner or later, the socio-economic situation of the country will go so far that there will be an absolutely real threat of public discontent.

Well aware of the circumstances in which Russia finds itself today and what the deterioration of the situation could lead to, President Vladimir Putin, as Khazine believes, simply cannot do without a thorough cleaning of the elites.

There is no other way to respond to the challenges linked to the crisis. The situation can only be corrected by a complete change of the entire ruling elite, which today is represented mainly by various liberal clans and their proteges in power.
