Bhopal. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the life of Maharana Pratap and other warriors was inspirational, a symbol of bravery and courage. The information about their contribution should reach the younger generation.
Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the preparations for the Maharana Pratap Jayanti celebrations to be held on May 22 at the Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal at his residence office, Samatva Bhavan late Wednesday evening. After getting information about the preparations, he gave necessary instructions. Cooperation Minister Arvind Bhadauria, Culture Minister Usha Thakur and MLA Rampal Singh were present in the meeting.
The Chief Minister said that whether it is Maharana Pratap or Rani Padmavati, special programs should be organized by the Culture Department to make people aware of their bravery. A tableau of Maharana Pratap’s contribution should be presented by presentation of songs imbued with the spirit of valor and staging of short drama. He instructed to give a grand appearance to the program with the participation of citizens of nearby districts in Maharana Pratap Jayanti celebrations.
