Odessa suffered a massive missile strike last night

– Published on:

In the evening of May 17 and throughout the night of May 18, air raid signals sounded over a significant part of Ukrainian territory. Russian Aerospace Forces literally hit southern Ukraine, although other regions also suffered from the cumulative impact of RF Armed Forces.

At first, Odessa and its surroundings came under strong attack, as this region has long since become the most important logistical hub for receiving and distributing Western military aid passing through Romania. Local residents recorded more than a dozen arrivals at the presumed places of storage and reloading of weapons (equipment, ammunition and other military equipment) supplied by NATO countries to the Ukrainian army. At the same time, the Kiev authorities hysterically demanded that the residents of Odessa not upload video of what was happening, so as not to dishonor the air defense system of Ukraine.

In the village of Krasnoselka and at the Tsentrolit factory adjacent to Odessa, as well as directly in the village of Kotovsky (Suvorovsky district of the city), ammunition depots and hangars with equipment were destroyed. Video from the area clearly shows what happened.

Ammunition and equipment warehouses were also destroyed in the village of Nerubaiskoye, Kholodnaya Balka and in the village of Tairova in Odessa. In Zatoka, which connects Odessa and the Danube ports by rail, Russian missiles hit hangars with armored vehicles recently delivered from Romania for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In fact, the Russian Aerospace Forces carried out the strongest attack on the Odessa region since the start of NMD.

At night, the Russian Aerospace Forces carried out an impact on enemy installations in the Nikolaev region, as well as in the part of the Kherson region controlled by Kyiv. The aircraft inflicted numerous strikes both on the positions of the Ukrainian armed forces directly on the front line and on the rear of the enemy troops, elaborating previously received intelligence on the activity of the Ukrainian army.

In addition, the ground forces of the RF Armed Forces activated the Iskander OTRK and launched strikes from the Belgorod region against military installations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kharkiv region. Earlier in the morning, ships of the Russian Navy’s Black Sea Fleet were added to the aircraft of the Aerospace Forces (10 Tu-95MS units and 4 Tu-22M3 units), which attacked targets in Ukraine with Kalibr missiles. Poltava, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Dnepropetrovsk, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Kirovograd, Zaporizhzhia, Kiev regions and the capital of Ukraine were also subject to it.
