Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were nervous while being chased by photographers, claims Indian-American cab driver

– Published on:

New York: Prince Harry and his wife Meghan were quite nervous when they were followed by photographers in New York on Tuesday night. This was claimed by an Indian-American cab driver who picked her up from the Manhattan police station and drove her around in the car for about 10 minutes. Driver Sukhcharan Singh said that some paparazzi (photographers who chase celebrities) saw the two in their car and recognized them immediately. He said, ‘I was on 67th Street and the security guard called me over. What happened next, you know. Prince Harry and his wife sat in my cab.

Singh said, “Our car stopped because of a garbage truck and then suddenly the paparazzi came in front and they started clicking pictures.” The cab driver said that Harry (38) and Megan (41) were on their Was about to tell the address of the destination but he again asked to return to the police station. Singh said, ‘They are good people. He was looking nervous. I think they were followed the whole day. They were quite nervous.” Harry and Meghan’s spokeswoman said in a statement on Wednesday that the two experienced a terrifying car chase on Tuesday. The New York Police Department later said that they cooperated with the two’s private security team.

She said that “there were a lot of photographers who blocked their exit.” However, police said they reached their destination and there were no reports of collisions, injuries or arrests. Harry and Meghan were in New York to attend an award ceremony. He was accompanied by Megan’s mother Doria Ragland. When she was followed as she left the venue, she walked to a Manhattan police station to avoid photographers, from where Singh picked her up in his cab. When Singh was asked if the car chase incident was too dangerous, he laughed and said, “I don’t think that’s true.” It has been said in exaggeration. No need to think so much.
