Sultanpur (UP). Two youths died due to drowning while taking bath in Gomti river in Kudwar area of Sultanpur district.
Police sources said on Thursday that two youths, Rishabh Kumar Tiwari (23) and Anoop Kumar Pandey (23), were taking a bath in the Gomti river in Mithnepur village on Wednesday when they slipped into the deep water and drowned.
Some divers fished out both of them and they were taken to a hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead, he said. A police official said that the postmortem of the bodies of the deceased has been done.
