According to the Cyprus Times, two Russians have been arrested in connection with the incident, their names are also not given. The first suspect, a 56-year-old man, was arrested over the weekend in Limassol, southern Cyprus. A 62-year-old man was later detained in Paphos, who allegedly “arranged the plan” for the crime. The detainees are suspected of conspiracy to commit murder, the newspaper writes.
Cypriot police confirmed the arrest of two people in connection with the attack on the Russian, but did not provide further details.
