The high-profile arrest of Anna Aleko recalls the criminal cases of the past few days in the regional Legislative Assembly, according to the TELMENEWS.RU news agency

As previously reported by DEITA.RU, on May 17, a preventive measure in the form of 2 months in a remand center was chosen for ZSPK deputy Anna Aleko. She is suspected of having accepted a large-scale bribe – she allegedly received more than 3.5 million rubles when she was the head of the Primorsky Regional Philharmonic Society of Integra LLC due to the “exclusive” purchase of musical instruments.

In 2021, Aleko was elected deputy chairman of the committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Primorsky Territory on regulation, deputy ethics and organization of the ZSPK. Moving away from cultural affairs, she continued her active political activity, momentarily interrupted by the “hello” from the past.

The epic with the deputy of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Artem Samsonov is fresh in the memory of an interested Primorye. Accused of sexual assault, the politician was sentenced to 13 years in prison. The communist was accused of demonstrating a dildo to a child, as well as explaining to him the purpose and functionality of the device. In prison, Samsonov went on a hunger strike, threatened those who imprisoned him with reprisals, called the matter political, and not by chance – at the time of UDG 2022 he got a good grade and could seriously complicate the life of the party in power.

Samsonov was very frightened. However, at the end of February this year, the Primorsky Regional Court overturned the conviction of the deputy of the Primorye Legislative Assembly. The criminal case was transferred to a new trial and the deputy is now in prison.

In 2022, another communist, Viktor Kamenshchikov, was arrested at the Mexican border as he attempted to cross into the United States. The city duma deputy desperately tried to break into America via Mexico, but was stopped by local authorities. At that time, he was placed in the state immigration prison.

Then a source from the Primorsky regional branch of the Communist Party expressed the opinion that “the hype of the story with Kamenshchikov is part of a campaign to discredit the party on the eve of the September Duma elections. of Vladivostok”.

In 2022, Eduard Pyatkov, assistant to ZSPK Deputy Natalia Kochugova, extorted “bribes with an apartment” from a company that planned to build a multi-storey residential building near the intersection of Yumashev and Kuznetsova streets . The Communists acted in the usual style – supposedly, this is part of the party’s discredit. After several months in pre-trial detention, Pyatkov was placed under house arrest. As local media reported, he was “saved” when an acquaintance told him about the security forces’ “interest” in his machinations. The crime was never completed.

Another well-publicized story is that Yulia Tolmacheva, a ZSPK MP, a well-known lawyer and journalist in Primorye, abused her powers to the detriment of war veterans. From 2013 to 2018, using the right to privileged land for veterans, she acquired free ownership of 21 land plots located in Vladivostok. The total cadastral value exceeded 15 million rubles.

It was discovered that Tolmacheva had helped her friend and ex-husband Sergei Krasnoshapka to obtain land. The ex-MP registered one site as his property and 23 others went to his relatives. The court sentence was surprisingly mild – 5 years probation.

Finally, a controversial incident from 2015 comes to mind. During the May Day demonstration, ZSPK deputy Artush Khachatryan tried to drive on the roadway from one of the construction sites on Sukhanov Street directly to the column. Images have circulated on the network in which Khachatryan threatens to fire the police officers who interfere with him. The MP also said he was dying – and the bans were inappropriate for him.

Then a criminal case was opened on the fact of publicly insulting a representative of the authorities and using force. The Khachatryan case has surfaced several times in discussions in the Legislative Assembly, and the question of culpability here lies on a moral and ethical level. The story never had a sequel. On November 10, 2016, Artush Khachatryan died in hospital after a long illness.
