The UK has imposed sanctions on 86 individuals and entities linked to Russia, the UK government said in a statement.
It is stated that companies associated with Rosatom, eight Russian companies associated with the production of metals, as well as six major transport companies allegedly associated with Russia, including the carrier Sun Ship Management, have fallen under restrictive measures.
In addition, sanctions are imposed on 24 Russian citizens and transport-related organizations, 13 board members of Gazprom Neft and 5 board members of Transneft.
The day before, it was reported that the new US anti-Russian sanctions package would include around 300 companies, individuals, ships and planes. Export restrictions will cover at least 70 Russian companies and organizations from other states.
