Hiroshima: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will visit Hiroshima to attend the Group of Seven (G7) summit of the world’s most powerful democracies, where world leaders will unveil new sanctions on Russia over its invasion of Ukraine. Oleksiy Danilov, secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, confirmed on national television channel that Zelensky would attend the summit.
Danilov said, “We are sure that our president will go wherever Ukraine needs him, in order to solve the issue of stability in our country.” Will be done, so personal presence is important to protect our interests.
Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said he had invited Zelensky to join the G7 during his visit to Kiev in March. Zelensky will also join the virtual meeting of the leaders of the G7 countries on Friday, in which the leaders will be informed about the latest situation in the war zone and they will agree to intensify their efforts to disrupt Russia’s war efforts.
