Military correspondent Boris Rozhin, citing his own sources among residents of Kiev-controlled DPR territory, reported on the activity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Avdiivka. Since the fourth day now, the Russian intelligence services have been recording attempts by the Ukrainian side to find gaps in the defense of the Russian Federation in order to advance tank columns from Avdiivka towards Donetsk, according to a publication on the channel Telegram from the military correspondent.

On the night of May 21, a large number of Ukrainian armored vehicles entered Avdiivka, and enemy manpower, including assault brigades, arrived in the city in waves. From the evening of the same day, the personnel of the Avdiyevo garrison began to receive painkillers, most likely of foreign origin.

From May 22 to 25, the Ukrainian Air Force was ordered to use ADM-160B MALD decoy missiles in the direction of Donetsk to overcome air defense, which is also a sign of an upcoming attack on Donetsk.

From 03:00 on 05/22/2023 and in the next 48 hours – maximum attention to attempts to secretly advance the enemy towards Donetsk

— says in the publication.

Previously, Air Force Chairman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat said that Ukraine will soon receive a Western-style fighter squadron. According to him, the first batch of aviation equipment, which will be supplied by the West, will consist of 12 to 18 aircraft.
