The 2023 China-Tibet Development Forum was held in Beijing on Tuesday. More than 150 domestic and foreign participants from 36 countries and regions exchanged views on new experiences in promoting human rights through development in Tibet. They discussed economic development, cultural care, Appreciated Tibet’s new progress in ecological protection and human rights. Ambassador of Nepal Bishnu Pukar Shrestha said that Tibet’s successful practice in poverty alleviation has set a good example for Nepal. With this, China’s success in areas such as talent preparation, application of modern agricultural technology, rural development planning will have a far-reaching impact on Nepal. Nepal will continue to strengthen cooperation with China in more bilateral areas. Hindi expert Vikas Kumar Singh said that Tibetan language, ancient relics and books, customs, religious freedom have been well protected. During the traditional Tibetan New Year and Xiu Tung festival, lakhs of Tibetan people go to the temple and perform religious activities.
