The ambassadors of Germany, Denmark and Sweden were summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry, where a protest was expressed to diplomats in connection with the situation around the investigation of the Nord Stream explosions. This was reported to the ministry on May 25.

“Strong protest has been voiced over the complete lack of results from the national investigations allegedly carried out by the authorities of these countries into the sabotage of Nord Stream in September 2022, their failure to ensure transparency of investigative actions,” says the website of says the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has described as unacceptable the evasion of German, Danish and Swedish authorities from interacting with the Russian side during the investigation. The Foreign Ministry also pointed out that the authorities of the aforementioned countries ignored the corresponding letter from Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and notes from Russian embassies.

Earlier, the director of the Department of Economic Cooperation of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Dmitry Birichevsky, said that Moscow could demand compensation for the damage caused by the damage to the Nord Streams.

Seymour Hersh, an American journalist who investigated the sabotage against Nord Stream, claims that US President Joe Biden personally gave the order to undermine Russian gas pipelines.
