The Commission for Supervision and Administration of State-owned Assets, subordinate to the State Council of China, recently said that by 2025, China will set up five to ten new-type think tanks of central enterprises with significant decision-making influence, social impact and international influence. Its goal is to complete the construction of a new type of think tank system of central enterprises by the year 2035. It is said that in the new era, the new type of think tank of central enterprises will mainly study strategic issues and innovation development, enhance theoretical innovation based on practice, and strengthen international cooperation.
