Implications of NIA’s ‘Operation Demolish’

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on May 17 carried out a fresh operation Demhot to discourage and destroy the international nexus of terrorists, smugglers and gangsters. For this, the amount of praise for the NIA and the police of the respective states is less. There is no doubt in the fact that such vicious people also get political, administrative and business encouragement and protection. That’s why taking such action against such anti-social elements in the national interest is commendable. For this the officers deserve public praise.

After all, who does not know that many criminals leading gangsters in the country are operating their illegal activities from countries like Pakistan, Canada, Malaysia and Australia. From there these people are engaged in plotting serious crimes in association with the criminals lodged in the jails of India. Its aim is to destabilize the Modi government at the center and the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh, which is working successfully in India.

From places like Karnataka, Delhi, Punjab, Bihar, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Kerala, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh etc. the talk of network of Naxalites, terrorists, gangsters has come to the fore from time to time. Therefore, the seriousness of the situation can also be gauged from the fact that such dangerous conspiracies are being hatched from the jails of different states. This is enough to point towards the negligence of the jail administration or the strategic negligence of the state administration.

This is because criminals and conspirators had become uncontrollable due to minority or coalition government at the center and regional parties in the states for almost two decades and they had made provincial jails their safe haven. Even now, such elements are more active in most big and small states where there are anti-BJP governments.

Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who has deep roots in the underworld, is on his nose with the help of his shrewd henchmen. Due to this, the police of many states have lost their sleep. He has now also caught the eyes of the Interpol intelligence team. The investigation of NIA has also exposed the mystery that such conspiracies were being hatched in jails of different states. The recent murders in Goindwal and Tihar Jail are part of this conspiracy.

However, the NIA, in coordination with the police of various states, has raided 324 locations in seven states and two union territories and nabbed several suspects. The seriousness of the situation can be understood from the raids conducted at about 120 places in a reformed state like Uttar Pradesh. In fact, the strings of the blast in Mohali are connected to districts like Lucknow, Ayodhya and Sultanpur. In view of this, it was printed here. The raids were carried out in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Chandigarh under Operation Demolish.

During this period NIA raided 129 places, Punjab Police 143 in 17 districts and Haryana Police raided 52 places in 10 districts. The rapid raids at 32 places in Delhi-NCR and 52 places in Rajasthan have broken their back. In this raid, 60 mobile phones, five DVRs, 20 SIM cards, hard disks, pen drives, memory cards, dongles, Wi-Fi routers, digital watches, 75 documents, besides pistols, mixed ammunition, live and used cartridges and Rs 39.6 lakh cash has been recovered.

The special thing is that NIA raided the Lucknow and Ayodhya places of Vikas Singh, a resident of Deogarh, Ayodhya, on the charge of giving shelter to Deepak Ranga, the main accused in the blast. Vikas was found at his home in Ayodhya, where he was questioned. Vikas Singh is suspected to have links with notorious gangster Lawrence Vishnoi. The objective of this action of the National Investigation Agency was to break the nexus of dreaded gangsters like Lawrence Vishnoi, Chhenu Pahalwan, Deepak Teetar, Bhupi Rana, Vikas Lagarpuria, Ashish Chowdhary, Gurupreet Sekhon, Dilpreet Baba, Harsimrat Simma, Anuradha besides terrorist Arsh Dalla. In this the agency has been successful to a great extent.
