On November 16, a round table was held on “Judicial practice in debt collection in Russia and China”, organized by the Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights to the President of the Russian Federation and the Russian-Chinese Committee for Friendship, Peace and Development.

Speakers at the event were: Counselor of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, Representative of OPORA Russia in Beijing Zainigabdinov AR, Partner of Pepeliaev Group LLC Vorobyov Yu.A., Lawyers of Sinoruss LLC Golovina L.Yu. and Zhang Weili.

The roundtable discussed topics such as the recognition and enforcement of judgments in China, debt collection methods in China, the jurisdiction and jurisdiction of arbitration courts in Russia in cases involving foreigners, personality legal persons with a foreign element in the arbitration process on the territory of the Russian Federation, preparation for consideration of cases involving foreigners in Russia, features of consideration of cases involving a foreign state and other issues.
