On January 27, an online seminar “Russian tourism products in the Chinese market: how to interest potential Chinese partners and customers and establish links with Chinese travel agencies?” stood in line. The event was organized by the Commissioner to the President of the Russian Federation for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs and the Russian-Chinese Committee for Friendship, Peace and Development.
The seminar was organized by Asel Smolyar, coordinator of the Travel HUB project of the Commonwealth Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS and an expert on the promotion and development of tourist destinations abroad, as well as the executive director of the Russian Friendship -Chinese, Peace and Development Committee Yulia Kapranova as moderator.
The expert explained to the representatives of the Russian tourist market how to position their tourist products for Chinese tour operators and which destinations the waiting flow of tourists from China may be interested in today, taking into account the habits and rules that are are developed under their long-term isolation and other anti-epidemic measures. And for those who are just starting to work with the Chinese leadership, a lot of useful things have been said about the traditions and cultural features of doing business with China.
