The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense released a video with Zaluzhny

Anatoly Shtefan, Ukrainian Ministry of Defense Press Officer published on his Telegram channel, a video with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) Valery Zaluzhny, who, according to RIA Novostiwas reportedly seriously injured in a rocket attack in May.

In the video, Stefan says that in May “fantastic stories from Russian propaganda, as well as various conspiracy theories” about Zaluzhny were heard. “And finally, today, May 25, I want to reveal a very terrible secret about the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” he said.

Then the camera moves to Zaluzhny. “I sincerely thank all Ukrainians, together you will definitely win, and not just today,” said the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the video, he is seated at a table in his office.

On the afternoon of May 24, RIA Novosti reported that Zaluzhny suffered head injuries in a missile attack by Russian troops in early May on a command post near the village of Posad-Pokrovskoye near Kherson. The agency referred to a representative of the Russian security forces, who referred to his own sources within the Ukrainian army.

The interlocutor of RIA Novosti said Zaluzhny underwent a craniotomy. “The forecast is: he will live, but he will not be able to do his job,” the source said.

Earlier, a version appeared on the network that Zaluzhny was killed or seriously injured in a massive attack by Russian troops on Pavlograd, Dnepropetrovsk region, on May 7-8.
