Hotelier’s body found in trolley bag in Kerala, three people in custody

Malappuram (Kerala). Kerala Police on Friday found a body in two trolley bags and suspect it to be that of the missing restaurant owner in Kozhikode district. The body of Siddique (58) was found in a pit on Attappady Ghat Road and three suspects were arrested, police said. has been taken into custody.

Malappuram Superintendent of Police S Sujith Das told the media that it was suspected that Shibili, a former hotel employee of Siddiqui, and Sharfana, a female friend of the accused, had killed him. Both were absconding but with the help of the railway police, he said. He was taken into custody in Chennai. Our team has reached there and they will bring them here soon.

Siddiqui had been missing from Kozhikode since May 18 and his family had lodged a complaint with the police. The information about the body was received from the statement of another friend of Shibili, the police officer said. This friend is also in custody.
