Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and Chinese President Xi Jinping had a phone conversation. The leaders discussed the achievement of peace in Ukraine, the strategic partnership between the two countries and the current situation in the world.
“Yesterday I had a phone conversation with Chinese leader Xi Jinping. We talked about the world situation, the need for peace in Ukraine, our countries’ participation in the BRICS summit in August and our strategic partnership in bilateral level,” the President of Brazil wrote on his Twitter.
Earlier it became known that Putin invited Lula da Silva to the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). The invitation to the President of Brazil was conveyed by Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov during the meeting.
