Strict action is being taken against those who commit sex crimes with children in China

By the way, the crime rate in China is very low compared to other countries. The reason for this can generally be attributed to the peace loving nature of the people, law abiding and severe punishment to the criminals. However, whatever crime incidents do come to light, the concerned security departments deal strictly with them. These include incidents of harm and sexual abuse of children. It is said that the Supreme People’s Procuratorate of China has ordered not to take any laxity in this regard. It has been said that in recent years the effect of strict attitude against criminals has been seen. This has led to 5,358 cases in the past two years in which children were harmed. It has been told that strict action has been taken against those who did the incident with the children.
It is worth mentioning that in the year 2020, the Supreme Public Procuratorate established this system, under which talks were held with various departments to protect innocent children. It was clearly emphasized that a complaint should be lodged against the person even for the smallest incident of molestation or child molestation. Along with this, action should also be taken against such people.
An official related to these cases said that this system and strictness have played an important role in uncovering suspected crimes and helping to fight and prevent crime. According to him, in the year 2022, the number of reporting cases related to children has increased 1.6 times as compared to two years ago. This proves that people have faith in this system. They feel that if they come forward and lodge a complaint, the culprit will be punished.
It is said that most of the cases of such children are related to sexual abuse. About 90 percent of the cases were of this type, which were not revealed earlier or their relatives or acquaintances were afraid to file a complaint. But now the atmosphere has changed. According to statistics, in the year 2022, 504 people were held accountable for not reporting incidents or threats to children. Instructions have been given to the officers from the higher level that in order to deal with such matters properly, various departments should increase exchange and communication among themselves. Along with this, a system should be established everywhere so that complaints can be lodged directly when incidents of sexual abuse with children come to the fore. In particular the hotels have been asked to cooperate on this matter.
Not only this, a provision has been made to punish girls below 14 years of age for raping them or for their mental physical abuse. Which includes life imprisonment or death sentence etc. It can be said that strict rules have been implemented to prevent sexual crimes in China, due to which such incidents are very rare. This is the reason why the fear of law prevails in the minds of criminals.
