Today International Children’s Day is being celebrated in many countries including China. Although Children’s Day is celebrated by different countries on different dates depending on their convenience, but the main purpose of celebrating Children’s Day everywhere is to make people aware of the rights and protection of children. Could On the other hand, in India, Children’s Day is celebrated on the birthday of the country’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru i.e. 14 November. Since Pandit Nehru loved children very much and advocated for the completion of children’s education, that is why Children’s Day is celebrated in India on the occasion of his birth anniversary.

In India, this Children’s Day is celebrated to raise awareness about the rights, care and education of children. On the other hand, International Children’s Day is celebrated in China on 1 June. When New China was formed in 1949, and the People’s Republic of China was officially established, since then June 1 has been celebrated as Children’s Day. Earlier, all the schools had a half-day holiday, but from the year 1956, on June 1, a full-day holiday was given on Children’s Day. Now on June 1, all schools across China have a full day off.

Actually, the purpose of celebrating this Children’s Day is to promote international solidarity, awareness among children around the world and to work for the betterment of children. International Children’s Day inspires all of us to talk about and promote the rights of children. It guarantees their right to survival, right to protection, right to participation and right to development in every country and society. We all know that children are the foundation of the development of the country and also the future, but if the children are deprived of their rights then a better world will not be built.

We should work for the betterment of children, as well as be committed to ensure that every child gets every right. Be it the government or the institutions, everyone should fulfill their commitments for the welfare and rights of the children. Children are the foundation of progress of our country. It is very important to pay attention to their well-being and education if we want to create a bright future. We must ensure that our young children grow up healthy and have the opportunity to become literate. By nurturing and supporting our children, we can lay a strong foundation for a better tomorrow.

Developing countries like India, China need to pay special attention to the health and literacy of children to improve their future, only then the dream of the country can come true. However, the heads of state of China and India meet the children of their country from time to time, and teach them the lesson of hard work. Where Chinese President Xi Jinping calls on children to study hard, strengthen their ideals and beliefs, and prepare to realize the Chinese dream of national rejuvenation, while also emphasizing on developing strong bodies and minds Let’s give At the same time, whenever the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi meets children, he teaches them about courage and self-control.

They say that courage should be in our nature, without courage life is not possible. Well, through Children’s Day around the world, efforts are made to make people aware of the rights of children, health, education, child labor etc. This day tells us that the first right of children is to live, so this right should not be taken away from them under any circumstances. Be it a boy or a girl, everyone should have good health. They should be protected, their words should be heard. Children have the right to light, education and entertainment in their lives. They should be allowed to grow, they should not be suppressed. Then somewhere the real purpose of International Children’s Day will be fulfilled.(Akhil Parashar, China Media Group, Beijing)
