A huge memorial of Maharaj Chhatrasal will be built in Chhatarpur, CM announced to make the municipality a municipal corporation

New Medical College building will be constructed with 300 crores, Chief Minister gifted development works worth Rs 790 crores on Gaurav Divas

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that to keep the memory of Maharaj Chhatrasal intact, his huge memorial will be built in Chhatarpur. He announced that Chhatarpur municipality will be made a municipal corporation. No stone will be left unturned in the development of the district. Orders have been given for a new tender by canceling the old tender of Chhatarpur Medical College. Soon the new medical college building will be constructed at Chhatarpur at a cost of Rs 300 crore.

Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing Chhatarpur’s Gaurav Divas and Women’s Conference on Friday. Giving many gifts to Chhatarpur district, he inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth Rs 790 crore. He said that Maharaja Chhatrasal was a great warrior and a symbol of valour. He established Hindu Swaraj. We should take inspiration from such a brave and great man. The Chief Minister said that the tender of the contractor who had not started the construction of Chhatarpur Medical College for a long time has been cancelled. Now orders for new tender have been given. Soon the construction work of the medical college will start in Chhatarpur.

He said that there was a time when daughters were considered a burden. Ladli Laxmi Yojana in the state has changed the thinking of the society and made the daughter a boon. Campaign is going on in the state for women empowerment. They are being led towards self-reliance through various schemes. We have reserved half the seats for women in the local elections, as a result of which women are sitting on the posts of panch, sarpanch, councilor etc. Social revolution has taken place in Madhya Pradesh to increase the importance of daughters and women. Registration fee has been exempted for buying property in the name of women. The prime minister’s residence is in the names of both husband and wife. Land rights pattas are also being given in the name of husband and wife. For the economic empowerment of poor sisters, the Madhya Pradesh government has taken a historic decision to deposit Rs 1,000 each in the accounts of 1.25 crore sisters of the state by implementing the Ladli Bahna Yojana from June 10.

The Chief Minister said that special gram sabhas would be held in the state on June 8, in which the names of eligible sisters would be mentioned. The acceptance letter will be delivered to the home. He told the dear sisters that they should sing songs in the village on the evening of 9th June, money is going to come in their account. There will be programs in all the villages at 5 pm on June 10 and at 6 pm I myself will have a virtual discussion with the women. After that the amount of the scheme will be transferred to the accounts of the sisters.

He said that Ladli Behna Sena will be formed in every village and ward. An army of 11 sisters will be formed in a small village and 21 in a big village. It is my endeavor that the income of the sisters of self-help groups of Aajeevika Mission should be 10 thousand per month. Due to these efforts, many of our sisters have joined the Lakhpati Club. He said that a decision has been taken to close the premises adjacent to the liquor shop. A decision has also been taken to give scooties to the girls who get more marks in class 12th. The poor are being made owners of the land by giving PM housing and land lease.

The Chief Minister said that terrorism will not be allowed to flourish on the land of Madhya Pradesh. People involved in terrorist activities have been sent to jail. Expressing displeasure over the incident in a school in Damoh, he said that the matter is being investigated, the culprits will not be spared. The Chief Minister said that the farmers who had become defaulters due to non-waiving off their loans, the amount of their interest will be paid by the state government. Ken-Betwa link project will bring irrigation revolution in Bundelkhand region.

District in-charge minister Govind Singh Rajput said that the state government never discriminated against Chhatarpur. Has always given many schemes for the development of entire Bundelkhand including Chhatarpur and Sagar. Maharaja Chhatrasal University in Chhatarpur has been made a state level university after Sagar became a Central University. He said that today is a historic and glorious day for Chhatarpur. Today, Chief Minister Chouhan has given instructions to start the work of the medical college at a cost of Rs 300 crore.

honoring talents

On Gaurav Diwas, the Chief Minister honored the talents of the district by giving them certificates. Observed the exhibition of products put up by women members of self-help groups, industry, horticulture, women-child development, Ayush, forest department and other departments at the venue. Local artists presented Diwari, folk dance, folk singing, folk drama and Alha Gayan. The players performed Malkhamb. Initially, the Chief Minister along with the guests garlanded the statue of Maharaja Chhatrasal and performed Kanya Pujan. Under the leadership of former minister Lalita Yadav, dear sisters presented 35 meter long chunri and big rakhi to the Chief Minister. People’s representatives, beloved sisters and general public were present in large numbers.
