The play, written and directed by Hisham Jalloul, simulates the situation of citizens in Lebanon and their suffering from the high cost of living and corruption, to turn them into unemployed or looking for a way to migrate to d other countries to earn a living, in addition to the deterioration of the state of health and the loss of medicines, and the inability of the State to meet its minimum obligations in terms of water, electricity and infrastructure .
The actors of the play focused on degree holders who do not find job opportunities after graduating from university in Lebanon, so they continue to search for a horizon, while some seek emigration to escape current reality, and a few others think of committing suicide after the horizon is blocked.

Jalloul, who also plays the role of Sami in the play, told Sky News Arabia that the story of the play deals with the calamity that brought together several young men who decided to emigrate but were unable to bear the bitterness of alienation, so after they agreed to emigrate, they came back and divided, so some of them decided to return to Lebanon and endure the suffering, while others stayed abroad, considering it the best decision for them to ensure a decent life.
The play was performed by ten young actors who attended in three months. Paintings of some songs were also used, in addition to the use of black comedy, where the individual sees the tragic reality and embodies their complaint sarcastically.
For his part, the actor, Muhammad Al-Ayoubi, said in an interview with “Sky News Arabia”, who played the role of the young comic Abbas, who has no value for life and what the days bring in a comedic context, that it was difficult for those watching the theatrical performance not to be affected by the script and the performance as it simulates the reality of Lebanon.
The decision to commit suicide and then marry a stranger
Al-Ayoubi played the role of a failed young man who lost hope and decided to commit suicide, which happened to some in Lebanon, who lost hope and solutions and resorted to the thought of suicide, but he suddenly found hope again by marrying a girl who has a foreign nationality, who can change his life in his country of origin, because his state guarantees him what he lost in Lebanon.
Graduate degrees without work
As for the young actor, Muhammad Al-Shami, he revealed in an interview with “Sky News Arabia” that he played the role of Yazan, the educated young man who holds many diplomas, with a high cultural level, but he does not couldn’t find a job opportunity for him, so he was with the idea of ​​emigration because he was sure he would find the right job or work with his degrees abroad.
Jalloul adds that the game shines on travel, as this step can be successful, but it can also fail.
